I have been a SpeedRazor user for many years and have been relunctunt to change to another system. However as new systems make greater and greater jumps forward, I know I will have to make a change in the near future. In preparing to go to a new system, I want to archive old Batch Capture data just in case I need it as a reference in the future. I want to find a way to print out all the Tape log info that is seen in the Batch Capture window.

I have found in an old user’s guide a reference that says I can generate a text file from Batch Capture (from Items menu, select Save txt file) and that it is saved in the Razornn directory.

Where in the heck is the Razornn Directory?

I have done a Windows Search for “Razornn” and come up with nothing.

My questions are:

1 – Where is the Razorn Directory?
2 – Is there a better way to make a log of Batch Caputre info?
3 – Are there any other suggestions as to things I should do (data to collect) in preparing to move from SpeedRazor to another NLE?

Thanks,
BaylorHog

Hope it is not too late to reply.

I had a similar problem and ran into the same documentation.

AFAIK, there is no Razornn directory. The file you are looking for
will be an acsii file located in the main SR directory. Without
the system in front of me, I believe it will be labled
RS422xxx.txt or something similar. Whenever you go into
batch capture, the above mentioned file is recreated. The
content will change depending on the project.

So just open a project, open batch capture to look at your list
and the ascii file will be created in the SR directory. Once
that's done you can copy it somewhere else on your system
to archive it.
