A new version.

Now it works with edges of objects rendered over transparent BG more correctly.

I assume this macro doesn't work at all in Fusion 5.1?

i can't work because the variblur was introduced in 5.3

Just buy 5.3 man. You'll get 6 with that as well if you do it now.

The problem of extending Z-depth data to fill transparent areas is solved - thanks to Roman Fedotov.
His new plugin for Fusion will be available after some improvements.

thats a goodlooking macro, getting better results than with other plugs.

ok great, now still waiting for Knoll lens for fusion x64 and I can FINALY stop using my 32bit fusion

maybe a more general question, but since im using this macro and dont want to open an extra thread:

what do u guys do to get some nicer edges by using 2d depthblur filters?
i guess the picture explains the problem

Anyway, it's better to render FG and BG objects separately to get a more pleasant result.

am i right that plugin do not work on 64bit?

No, it's just 32 bit.
You can use the Erode/Dilate instead, although it makes less correct result.
