I Am Fusion

Triggered by the videos done by Blazej and the new ones from Felipe we want to encourage everybody to share their Fusion magic.
The name of this "campaign" is (as you might guess from the subject...;-)) "I am Fusion".
So if you have a cool workflow, an amazing motion graphic, a tool tip or a technique you want to share with the world,
please contact me at eric-at-eyeonline.com and we'll put it up on our youtube channel.
Anything from 1 minute to 30 minutes will be absolutely fine.
Just go ahead and be creative....;-)
We recommend Techsmith's Camtasia (www.techsmith.com) for best results.
If needed, I'm happy to send you recording instructions and encoding templates privately.
The first set of videos was done by Felipe Neiva and shows how he created that amazing Disco Ball.
The comp can be found here:

Thanks Felipe for this amazing tutorial.
And now Guys and Gals it's up to you! Come on! You can do it!....;-)
Cheers.
Eric.

Seriously? There must be something...some Trick, some Tip, anything cool you discovered and always wanted to visually share with the community.
Feeling insecure? No need to! Because there is no such thing like a bad trick or a bad accent.
It's tricks and accents at the end of the day.
And of course fame. Fame and eternal praise...;-)
(And maybe even some very special give aways not everybody has...;-))
As said before I'm more than happy to help with any questions that may come up producing a tutorial video.
Just mail me off-list at eric-at-eyeonline.com
Yes! You can!
Cheers.
Eric.

By the way, I have some other ideas but the problem is always that I'm lacking the rights to use a clip from a project or I don't have the means to shoot/matchmove a clip that I can show. Is there a way to tap into some footage that somebody might have available for tutorials (or even free stuff, I'm only aware of www.hollywoodcamerawork.us so far)? Like, for example, a helicopter fly-by of a building or stuff like that.

I'm planning to do a short scripting 101 for Fusion. comp scripts, tool scripts, the basics of the OOP classes in Lua, where to find help. Maybe I can finish that after the next deadline

Maybe make this a collective effort, everyone shoot a couple of shots with different whatever hardware they have lying around (someone is bound to know someone else who's willing to shoot a small clip with say a 5D, Red, CineAlta, etc), heck, you might even try harassing Mike Seymour and friends for some old FXPHP shots?
Just thinking out loud.
I'll see if we have something lying around.

Don't want to take any credits here, but Tilt fulfilled his promise.
Here's the link to his Scripting 101 Tutorial:
Thanks, Stefan!
