V-Ray shaders were made by other guys in Maya, but they are nice indeed!
Nice shaders Gringo(Y) What did you use for defocus?
SecondMan is totally right about the defocusing tool
Honestly, I don't know anything better for Fusion, yet it's built only from the basic native tools.
Ha-ha! I enjoyed it more too! Maybe, because it's still not an everyday business for me
Lovely compositing work Gregory but I enjoyed more the "Jump 101: Fun and Greetings"!

Here's an overview of the other clips. Great use of Fusion's shaders and 3D space!
And god damn, that whole idea of mixing live action with CG heads and legs is wicked

I just find the tracking markers quite excessive for a locked-off camera ;-)

what was a sort-of-test, became an enhanced version of Fusion animation.
All done with fusion and fusion tools with particles re-lighted in 3D (sort-of)
hope you'll like it:
ps. i hate the youtube viewing compression... (if interested i can provide a comp for viewing )

there are 2 comps with custom coloured nodes, Notes, and some comments in some nodes, just to explain what is going on;)
2 comps: one is a particle set-up, second is look and design and re-light etc... these are rar archives with txt extensions, so remove the ext and unpack:)
Hope some of You will find this helpful
cheers and have fun
if someone is interested - here's the link for pre-rendered particles
