Hello!

Let's say I export the spline of the red channel of a color curve tool, I CAN'T import it into another Color Curve Tool!

Here's what i'm doing:

1)In the SPLINE VIEW I export the red channel curve (export "all points") A .spl file is saved

2) I create another CC CURVE tool . I select a curve and choose IMPORT SPLINE. I choose the previously saved FILE

and then the curve doesn't change!

Thanks for your help!

Hi,
Tried it myself..looks like a bug. I tried it a few times and I think of 15 times I tried, it worked 1 time. The one time it worked I think I seleted ALL splines in the Curves tool and export all. But when I imported it, it imported just the red channel.
So..I think its a bug.
->I think tech@eyeonline.com is support email..

Strange, what versions are you guys on? I can not reproduce it.

Fresh_Powder: I am not sure that you can at all export multiple splines in one file. You SHOULD only export one channel per file. So you need to do this one by one.

I'm on 6.3..

bfluch: I don't know. I just tried out. Never used export Spline so far.. Is it possible for you to export and import the splines of the curves tool? Maybe we do something wrong..

I tried in 6.3.2 build 1030 and it works. See the attached screencapture for what I do.
Attached File  curve_spline_export_import.zip   1.74MB   64 downloads

If you need to export / import multiple channels you can always Save and Load the settings (or Copy and Paste Settings).

ah man...Fusion is a little B**ch. :D
Worked when I did exactly the same thing.
I think the point is that you have to hide all the splines exept the one you want to export and make fusion absolutly clear that you want to export THIS spline. :D..this is ridiculous.. :glare:
Well..at least it works now. :D

Thank you bfloch :)

You can also right click the entry in the list/tree at the left to select the one that you really need. Or you right click a part of the spline directly. I disabled them for better visualization.
