I'm having trouble using the macro.

I tried using it on one of my renders and couldn't get it to work (console errors and always blurry).

I've then downloaded the sample files from vfxpedia. I can see that there is an older version of the macro, and that one seems to work for the sample file but also for my render.

I've tried using the latest version of the macro, replacing the macro in the sample composition, but there are console errors:
BC_CurvatureFocalPoint cannot get Parameter for Brightness at time 1
Clr_ForegroundMap cannot get Parameter for Input at time 1
BOL_Maximum cannot get Parameter for Background at time 1
BC_CurvatureFocalPoint cannot get Parameter for Brightness at time 1
Clr_BackgroundMap cannot get Parameter for Input at time 1
BC_CurvatureFocalPoint cannot get Parameter for Brightness at time 1
Clr_ForegroundMap cannot get Parameter for Input at time 1
BOL_Maximum cannot get Parameter for Background at time 1
VBl_ReduceEdgeArtefacts cannot get Parameter for Input at time 1
BC_SharpZone cannot get Parameter for Input at time 1

Is there anything I'm doing wrong? I've tried inverting the depth map (I have negative values in my Z-Depth), but it didn't help.

I'd like to use the latest version, as it seems it has more features and bug fixes.

i used it recently withmy countdown comp and also had the problems. what worked for me was normalizing Z values to 0-1, copy it to RGB channels and use it as external Zmap (work with Picker also :) )

What version of Fusion are you using?
The latest DepthDefocus is supposed to work properly in 6.3 and later.
The depth map is always expected to be connected to the second input (green)

Hi Gregory,
Sorry for the delay, the deadline is knocking at my door and I'm doing some overtime.

Good news: I managed to get DepthDefocus to work! The tip that the depth map should always be connected helped! The normalization seemed to help too.

Bad news: I can't get Edge Extender to work. I've spent more than an hour on it to no avail. Could you take a look at the comp?

Please respond as quickly as you can, but no worries if you can't :)

Thanks!

Just before the webinar, I'm bumping this, or else it may get totally forgotten. :)

Does anyone know how to use Edge Extender with Depth Defocus?
