I am having a strange behavior from the tracker tool, sometimes it gets really slow and stop to update the timeline and stops to show the controls like I can't use the stop button!
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Michel.
Although unwanted, this behaviour might have different reasons.
- What is your source-footage?
Sequence or Streaming format (like QT), which might require extra time to decompress.
- Is the footage local or loaded via network?
- When you disable Simultanous Branching and set FramesAtOnce to 1 during tracking,
does that help?
Cheerio.
Eric.

Thanks for the feedback Eric!
I am using jpg sequence through the network, it's not that slow to play but playing through the tracker it's much slower if I put more trackers it gets worst I've noticed that if I deselect the tracker node it plays faster but I loose the controls.
I'll try the simultaneous option to see how it goes, I'll let you know.
Thanks!

Hi Michel.
When you say 'multiple trackers',
I assume you have multiple tracking patterns in a single tracker tool?
You probably disable tracking on any pattern that has been successfully tracked?
(as in: setting the checkmark in front of each successfull pattern to Grey)?
Else, each pattern will attempt to re-track every time,
which with a large amount of patterns certainly might reduce speed...:-)
Cheers.

Hi Mzigaib and Eric. I have also this random behavior. I don't think its the network or the tracker. It did it for me only with one loader when i tried to make a preview. I have notice that usually does it with large previews (i had before one hour this situation - stabilize footage 1850 frames 2k footage). I was thinking something with display drivers and dual setup monitor or another application at the background. I haven't found a pattern of the problem. It is rare.

Once I had this issue. It turned out that when I was adding new tracker to the same tool where I already had one successful tracker. I had to disable previous tracker when adding the new one. I think otherwise the previous tracker makes an attempt to track again, as Eric mentioned.
