I'm making a simple vertex color grading script (in Blender) and I have lift, gamma and gain working, but what is a simple way to tint shadows, midtones and highlights separately?

Actually, what is the math behind simple tinting, is it just a multiply or is it done in HSV space?

Here on the pictures you can see, how Fusion performs Tint in different modes:

In simple case, it's weighted multiplication of the color channels.

Thanks for this by the way.

I did tests with custom tool and math seems to be simply overlay with luma compensation.
