Hey guys,

is the chat dead? can't seem to connect (endless login popup, on both chat links)

Anyhoo, wanted to use the chat for a simple question regarding the ccv:
Is there an option to turn off the snapping of the out value of the ccv curves (for some reason the curves always clip the out values at 0 and 1, unless i edit the values manually through script or text edit), it's kinda odd to have this behaviour on a composite program that mostly works with float values.

cheers,

Sven

yes, Fusion works with float values. But it's not designed for people who want to work with float values :mf_prop:
You also can't change a ColorCorrector's luma ranges beyond 1.0 and if you expand the color wheel, you can enter values > 1 for luminance but the slider will no longer be available.

Wow, I just saw this mail I've sent to eyeon on March 16 of last year:

I wanted to use the color curves to create a soft rolloff for superbright values above a sensible ceiling of 15 or so but I can't move the points above 1.0! This seems like an awkward limitation and I vaguely remember being able to create points anywhere in past versions of Fusion. Or does my memory deceive me?

Well, maybe next week we'll know if that was ever received.
