Ooooh well done everyone! :)

No worries. The macro works right now and I will release it here soon. Wait until you see the most fun side of it... ;)

Unfortunately I must ask you for a little more patience as it will pretty much require Fusion 7 to run properly and in full.

Also I am on holiday and dealing with comp withdrawal symptoms :)

Well there we go... now that Fu7 is out in the wild, I'll upload this to play with, too. Hurray! :)

Couple of caveats...

There seems to be a speed issue (hah) that I am trying to resolve. Still, it's more than acceptable especially considering the pains you have to go through in a standard TimeStretcher to do stuff this thing can do in a few clicks.

You can try to run this in Fu 6.4 as well, as long as you have Dimension (for the 2D/OFlow version) but it will in many cases cause Fusion to lock. Personally I wouldn't bother.

A couple of things are still incomplete (like the reverse button in conjuction with Lock Start/End modes).

Please just play with all the settings and see what it does. Some parameters do not combine, intentionally. Unfortunately I can't do dynamic UI in macros.

A quick rundown of the modes:

Warp: scrubs inside the Source Start to Source End range using the Time Warp slider.
Remap: maps Source Start-End to Target Start-End
Lock Start: locks Source Start to Target Start frame, and you can use Speed/Step to go from there.
Lock End: locks Source End to Target End frame, and you can use Speed/Step to go from there.
Random: random frames from within the Source range.
Hold: holds a frame
Skip: skips frames, so a setting of 2 starting from 1 does 111444777...
Offset: offsets your source range forward or backward.

Before/After Time defines the behaviour before or after the Target Range. You can even use these with for example the Random mode if you force the Target Range.

Pre blend averages the Source Frames before retiming and Post Blend averages the Target Frames after retiming.

For testing I find it handy to retime a Text+ tool with the text set to frame numbers.

And this one is really fun! :)

Please download the Time3D fuse (if you haven't already done so) from vfxpedia to make this work.
Direct link: http://www.vfxpedia....ges/Time3D.Fuse

This 3D version also doesn't have any of the aforementioned speed issues, so it's really fast - very fun, so time! :)

One last thing though. I am taking a break at the moment, and as such I have not tested this on the latest builds of Fu7. Basically this is beta, and please do test it and let me know what does and doesn't work for you, or if there is anything you would like to add or do differently. Either here in the forum or via email which you can find in the comments tab.

Happy Time Travels! :)

I hope i can use it with Fusion 6.4, just test it next days...

ps: a short question: how to save a comp with relativ paths, so it works on different pc?

Pathmaps are made for this purpose.

As I also recently learned,

Prefs->Globals->PathMap or Prefs->[YourComposition]->PathMap and activate "enable reverse mapping of non-user paths"

Sorry, don't understand pathmap quickly. I had no time today to figure it out more

I only would have this path in the comp on pc and laptop. The userpath is different, because it win7 and win8

[mycomp]/IMAGES/input/123.jpg
[mycomp]/IMAGES/output/123.jpg

So what pathmap have to set?

There is already a pathmap called "Comp:" that points to your composition folder.
So in your Loader, just browse to the file and Fusion should replace your Loader with "Comp:IMAGES/input/123.jpg". You need to have the option enabled that Alkesh has pointed out for this to work.

If you don't have that option enabled, you can type that "Comp:..." thing into the file input manually.
