Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has experience in creating a video mosaic in fusion and if there's any plugins or third party fuses available. I've been searching around without much luck the past couple of days

Definitely need to see an example. I can dig up mosaic, as in hiding someones face or mosaic as in a video wall. I've seen both. I'll see if I can find them as comps.

This is not real mosaic, it is faked. Just a simple crossfade...

Thanks for that. Certainly points me in the right direction. I'd hoped there'd be something that would save me having to AndreaMosaic as a start point, but this certainly a good approach for dealing with what I output from there.

I did this a couple of times.. First I make the mosaic in AndreaMosaic, keeping track of how many pictures horizontally and vertically, outputting at high res.

Then just map it onto an imageplane with corresponding subsections (h and v), and use Mighty Krokodoves PolyPlay3D to mess things up and rearrange to your likings.

When you just want a cloud of random images to fly through you do not need to resort to Andreamosaic. Particles have helped me on several occasions.

Use bitmap style emitter, emit your sequence at 1 particle per frame using 'Particle birth time', adjust emitter settings to your needs.

I cannot make an example atm =\

Good luck =]
