The new fusion.eyeonline.com link to manuals seems to pull up the old 6.4 document, so RTFM was unfruitful. I can't decipher this bullet point.
Is this feature (connected node position and prediction) a flow UI enhancement, or does it have something to do with tracking or optical flow?
What Is F7 "connected Node Position And Prediction"?

It just means that if you add a new node not by dragging it to the flow but just by clicking the toolbar button, it will be put in a logical place depending on whether you're currently building a flow downwards or horizontally. Previously Fusion would just spawn the node depending on the flow direction setting. It's especially noticeable when adding masks to tools that already have masks.
