I hope there's still people checking this forums. Hi guys, it's been a while since I visited this forum. I've changed jobs like 3 years ago and went back into the flame and smoke world and then was given the task to deploy Nuke, so no fusion for me.

I've been waiting for the new fusion and now that I have the free version of Fu 7.5 I notive that it runs super slow... Only to realize later that the console was screaming for my attention reporting this:

OpenCL Could not find valid context: CL_DEVICE_NOT_FOUND

Totally surprised Ive used fusion for years with nvidia cards, Quaadros and Gforces and never had an issue. I'm on a Dell Precision 4800 fitted with a Quadro K2100.

Anybody experienced this? I hope is not a limitation of the Free version (Doubt so)

Thanks in advance

See if this:http://www.steakunde...ic.php?f=6&t=92

Well it does describe my issue, but no it doesnt in a way.

Fusion detects my quadro card it says GPU: NVIDIA CUDA Quadro K2100M, you can't force select it because that setting is only available in Fusion studio.

Below in status, it reports

NVIDIA CUDA: Quadro K2100M

Version: OpenCL 1.1 CUDA

Mem: 2048MB, Clock: 666 Mhz, Units 3

Supports: Image, float64

Thats all it says and keeps complaining about the same...

what a bummer.  My old workstation had a quadro 4000 and run like a charm with Fusion.

Should I move this topic to the we suck less new forum?

Thanks Guys.

I think this would be a good one to put on Blackmagic's forum directly. At WSL we can't really help you any further...
